This was a fantastic restaurant for dining, where me and my friend were seated immediately in the stylish area! We had pasta crisps for free, seating is comfortable and menus are given to visitors right away. I had delicious Spaghetti Bolognese with a refreshing pint of Coke, served in due time! The staff were very nice and I could use my £15 voucher with a 2 for 1 offer, accounting for our entire bill.
Very nice meal, we choose from the set menu which had plenty of options and also had some additional new items.
Definitely recommend as the food is always good, staff are friendly and helpful and great atmosphere.

Zizzi's in York was very welcoming, taken to a table on entering and given menus. The decor and layout was pretty spot on. We chose to go for the 3 course deal for £23.95 each. I had a calamari starter and my wife had garlic bread, both very tasty and good portions. For the main I had carbonara with Parma ham and Chorizo, my wife had stick pig pizza, very filling and also delicious. To finish off I we had a lemon cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake. We were both stuffed and satisfied. It was not overly busy on our visit, so not sure how they do during peak hours, the toilets were quite far and a bit dingy but there were disabled toilets much closer if needed. Overall glad we visited, and will be happy to go again.
Came here for a friends birthday and wasn't disappointed! Great food, decent prices and quick service. Nice atmosphere. Food was piping hot and tasty. Thank you!
Visited here with my husband at the end of our stay in York.
We were seated and our orders were taken fairly quickly. The menu had plenty of options for both food and drinks.
As with the service our food and drinks also arrived quickly too. We both had the arancini to start and a pasta dish for main. The arancini was tasty and the honey sauce it came with was a lovely addition. I had the goats cheese ravioli with pesto and it tasted really fresh and was very filling too.
After we'd eaten we decided to have another drink and before we could even use the online ordering a waitress came over to check on us and took our order.
Nothing at all to complain about, would definitely visit again!

Not enough staff working for a Sunday this close to Christmas it was heaving they were clearly rushed off there feet and lots of customers were turned away.
I think this place is profiling for bigger groups, like 4+ people. Regardless we were properly served and food was fantastic. I recommend plum crumble for a dessert - both my partner and me think it was the best dish that day.
Starters: arancini balls were amazing, came with a really tasty honey dip. Chicken kebab thing was sooo juicy and flavourful. Again came with a really tasty honey dip. Fondutu formaggi cheese dip was to die for.
Main: had the half and half pig pizza. The half and half pizza was HUGE. Casareccia pollo picante was really flavourful, creamy, spiced. Would recommend.
Dark cherry and amaretto cheesecake was very strong in amaretto, it was all I could taste. Interesting menu choice.
Dessert calzone was okay butcame slightly charred and was very sweet.
We came here tonight and weren't disappointed. We were seated straight away (and we were sent away from 2 different restaurants prior who where full). The food arrived quickly and the contactless ordering worked great. The atmosphere was good and the staff were really helpful and friendly. I highly recommend the still lemonade and the salted caramel chocolate brownie 👍
