Food and coffee excellent, lovely people, staying at the hotel opposite where the breakfasts cannot compete. A great find.
Lovely place, cozy atmosphere, kind people, nice food quality - all in all a perfect place for starting your day or having a break.
Great little cafe..love the make over it got..super space for a brunch or coffee!
Superb breakfast from a great choice of all the usuals plus halloumi, avocado and smoked salmon. And piping hot coffee too. What's not to love?
Great tandoori chicken flatbread! Really tasty, and good sized portion. Nice guys in there too 😊
Great food. Trad and novel, but all very tasty and good value.
Lovely independent coffee shop, great cakes and friendly staff. A perfect place for breakfast/brunch
Very good food and service in a small independant cafe close to bus stops on Tadcaster Road. Easy to stop off and enjoy.
My partner and I love coming here when we can’t be bothered to fight our way through the busy city centre for a sit down lunch. Very easy to get to, there’s parking right outside. The food has never disappointed, you can tell it’s fresh. I always have a bacon and egg sandwich whilst my partner loves the peri chicken wrap. Not to mention the coffee, so creamy and never bitter! My coffee goes cold before I finish my food every time, but the ladies are always so kind to reheat it for me. In conclusion, great little independent spot with fresh food and lovely coffee for a reasonable price :)
Went for breakfast which is a build your own breakfast, starting with toast and then add your own items affair. I wish I'd realised it was just one small piece of toast. Even with an egg and grilled halloumi, not particularly filling.
Selection of sweet treats looked amazing.
They do serve Dark Woods coffee (Under Milk Wood) which is excellent.
Seating inside is rather cramped and awkward when all tables are in use, as was the case when we visited. There's covered seating outside as well.
Service was really quick.
