Such a fun pub tucked into a quiet neighborhood. Watched a Wales vs Poland EURO qualifier in a Welsh broadcast, which was wild, while enjoying a pint of Boltmaker. Warm, friendly place and a great barkeeper.

A delightfully peaceful escape from the insanity of York's Christmas Market on a chilly December afternoon so close to the flooded River Ouse. Good selection of real ales; not so cheap as Sam Smith's, but at least you're allowed to check a phone. £4.20 for a pint of Timothy Taylor's.

Lovely pub about 5 mins from rowntree caravan park, with live sports and good priced beer etc. The beer garden is nice at the back and is dog friendly
