Coffea has a really good sandwich menu, which are all made fresh to order. They have several breads to choose from too, and its very reasonably priced. Nice coffee too!
Katerina is the owner and is a kitchen wizard - genuine hospitality and truly delicious fare await, on the doorstep of historical Gillygate. Best omelettes and waffles in York as far as we're concerned.
Coffea is a lovely cafe right across Gillygate from York St. John University. Some coffee shops are quirky or chic; this one feels like a welcoming living room. The regulars get to know each other, and there is a revolving door of students and wandering tourists.
