Amazing little gem of a chip shop, service is always friendly, warm and funny, it's genuinely like a small slice of Holland in the middle of York... My love for chips topped with paprika salt has well and truly been rekindled... An absolute must visit if your after a quick, satisfying fix of awesomeness!
Not only is the food here delicious, but the staff are so lovely! They do amazing baklava, and the chips are perfect. Highly recommended!
The chips are amazing. The variety of sauces is to die for. Always go for the large so u don't regret finishing the chips so fast. I loved it. Next time in York first stop kings chips 😀😀

I love this place. The people are always friendly, there's never long to wait for a hot set of chips and they are always cooked to perfection. Really, this is chips down to a fine art. They have loads of sauces to choose from but I've always found that chips with salt is enough. Full marks.
King chips staff are very friendly. The chips are the best I have ever had, very tasty and always fresh. I have popped back a couple of times now and the choice of sauces are great and I can't wait to try all of them at some point. I would highly recommend everyone to try you won't be disappointed. Great chips and good choice of sauces. They only serve chips here but they are delicious and reasonably priced. Don't order large for just yourself unless you're a BIG eater 😂
Just moved here from America and live upstairs from this place. Aside from it being conveniently close, they are some of the best chips I’ve had here. A great selection of sauces and it’s not expensive. Would recommend for a snack, or after some drinks.

Chinky, crispy, fresh chips and lovely staff and more sauces than you could imagine with a selfie wall of York details.
I'm not a fan if being in my own photos, but the selfie-wall was calling my name. Good luck choosing a sauce, it took me a while (I tried Samourai after not being big enough to try the HOT! sauce)
Brilliant for filling fast food. The regular cone is a meal in itself, the Samourai and Pepper sauces are my favourites so far.
