Stopped off for a drink and a quick bite to eat at lunch. Close to the city wall, so useful if you want to take a break whilst walking it. Ordered the Steak & Cheese sandwich which was very nice, my partner had the Crispy Chicken, Bacon & Avocado sandwich which she enjoyed as well. The staff were very polite and friendly when serving us.
Great English style pub which serves a good selection of food and drinks. Nice and friendly staff. Can't fault the prices either, would definitely come again.
Dropped in for a pint at the Windmill pub. Just had to with a name like mine. Had a local brew Maris The Otter. Good brew with a high perceived bitterness on the finish. Some hop flavour and aroma. Several ales available. The pub looks good and lots of tasty food on offer. Pleasant staff.
