Great place for food and drinks. Lots of vegan options and very well done, especially considering it's not a vegan pub. Draught selection is excellent with a good variety of beer and cider, definitely recommended.

Fossgate tap has turned into our whole reason for going to York at this point. York is great, but having a great place to get away from the massive crowds, have a drink, and eat some amazing vegan food makes it significantly better. Plus the newer additions like the vegan zeafood tacos are some of the best in the UK.

My fave place in York! For a non vegan pub they’ve smashed it with their vegan options, pizza, garlic bread with vegan cheese, nachos and my partner got dirty fries! They have the cider I drink on Tap (Rekorderling) and the cost of everything is very good! Absolutely amazing

Popped in for a drink, ended up eating here. Good music, friendly staff, and a great selection of craft beers. I had the Fossgate Kebab, load of chicken and rare rump steak, chips not required, delicious 🤤 wife had Bombay Tandoori Kebab, chicken tender, chicken was spicy. Recommended, good staff 👍😉

Great range of beers including local ales. Good alcohol free beer choices too. Large selection of spirits and the bar staff were super friendly. Great bar in the Middle of York.

Lovely little pub, not had food here yet but for a drink we can't fault it. Lovely staff, nice and cool in the blistering sun, have a great recommendation on beer, and also listened to me prattle on about rum for probably a bit too long. Top service.

Great drink selection. Trendy setting, only downside was service. Staff seemed to not take an interest at times. As someone who works in hospitality I understand how shifts can be but this did damper our experience here.

2nd time here (once for breakfast and once for lunch). Both times have been great. Lovely atmosphere with good decor and music throughout. Food has been spectacular everytime. Good selection of both local and international beers too. Reasonable prices for the centre of the city 👍

Really cool spot very central in York, we had been to a few bars and pubs this evening and it was one of the better spots but not the best!
It was very well decorated but didn't have an atmosphere but is nonetheless a really nice spot to stop grab and drink and have a long conversation

Really liked this place. Nice atmosphere near the bar. Solid selection of craft beer and cask beer craft / trad.
