Totally depends what you order. Saturday nights are poor, Sundays better??? Always ask how long Delivery is, as it can be hours! Collect is always quickest. Massive portions, and cheap, very salty, but I like that!!! but cash only.

I ordered sweet & sour chicken with boiled rice and a special fried rice. The sweet and sour was amazing, crunchy peppers and chunks of sweet pineapple! The special fried rice was excellent too!

Have used Maks fairly regularly for a couple of years now, I usually get my food delivered. Sometimes it takes a while to arrive but when I've contacted Maks previously about any delays the staff have always been pleasant over the phone and made an effort to get my order to me asap.
The sweet & sour pork balls and egg fried rice I ordered last night was delivered quickly by a very pleasant chap and the food was piping hot and very tasty. The portion size was good, the quality of the pork was excellent and the rice was fresh and tasty. The sweet and sour sauce was old school, not tasting of saccharin, a good old thick glutinous sauce... like it should be. I really enjoyed it and it was totally worth the money.

Always served quick when collecting (cash only) and great portion sizes. Quality of food is ok but only tried a couple of meals. Unfortunately they got my order wrong the other day but I think this was a slight misunderstanding/communication error and they rectified it straight away.

We were blown away with every part of the service, the food turns up half an hour early, steaming hot and the size of the portions were massive! We barely scratched the surface and have plenty more for many other days.
The quality was extremely good too, definetely one of the better takeaway experiences I can remember. We're veggies and there was plenty of range to choose from. We'll be back!

This is our first take away order from here but definitely not our last. Lovely food, hot on delivery and arrived earlier than expected. Large portions so plenty of leftovers for tomorrow. Very impressed with the food and service. Thank you.

Fantastic Chinese takeaway. Ordered food for from here to be delivered to a holiday cottage we were staying in at Naburn village, the food arrived quickly & was piping hot. Best Chinese we've had for a long time, can definitely recommend them 10/10

Great food and extremely reasonable prices considering the portions. Two people could easily share on portion of you opt for the large option. Crispy beef was tasty, chips usual Chinese style. Curry was good.
