I got the “breakfast think outside the box” breakfast for £3.50. I was informed there were no hash browns or tomatoes available which was okay and I didn’t want egg so I was offered to double up on a couple of things. I asked to double on the beans and sausage. I don’t have a photo but I got two bacon rashers, mushrooms, two sausages and beans. I’m not sure if the member of staff forgot about doubling up on the beans portion however the portion of beans was tiny, I feel like it wasn’t even one big spoonful of beans. Other than the lack of beans the breakfast was okay and the service was good. Would probably go back to try some of the other pastries and sweet treats.
Choose your own sandwich filling as they can be made to order. Great choice of cakes & pastries. I ordered a personalised birthday cake online to pick up from store -very easy & efficient process & it looked & tasted great too.
Tasty and good value, lots of choice. Had cheese/pizza straws and a Christmas cupcake (it's not too early)
Friendly staff. Got a couple slices of pastries and they were quite nice. Not a lot of selection probably because it was kinda late when I arrived. Not bad though.
Dunno what all the bad reviews are about, it's a good friendly place for locals looking for a bite during lunch. I've visited plenty of times and never had an issue with the price, and it's always been tasty & they have very friendly staff.
I love to visit for savoury & cakes. Delicious pasties, cheese straws & fresh cream cakes. Have recently had a birthday cake made. Plenty of designs to choise from & good prices. Staff always very helpful & friendly. Birthday cake 🎂 was smashing!
Well worth a visit to the best bakery in York, we always pay a visit when ever we pass cooplands and always spend quite a bit in here, all the food is fresh and cooked on the day (or made fresh on the day in the case of sandwiches and cold treats), the vast choice and quality of the food and drinks here are outstanding and the cost is cheap, which means you can get quite a lot for very little money. Definitely worth a visit if you pass, try the yum-yum's there to die for.

Cooplands if I had one complaint I would have to say that your too good.
Please increase the price 70% and reduce tastiness by at least 40%
