A fantastic family meal!
We had booked a table for 7pm and arrived on the dot, there wasn’t any other customers in at that point so we got seated and served straight away.
We browsed the menu and ordered quite a few different dishes, our drinks came straight away and the food wasn’t much longer!
Real Chinese food and tasty. Not too may people on Sunday, but other days could be busy. Main dishes are averagely at around £12 to £17 each with reasonable size.

They have a very good selection of both authentic and westernised dishes, so no one can complain! 😂

Tucked away, this hidden treasure is definitely worth a visit. It’s my go to York restaurant and it never lets me down. Great service, authentic menu, the best service and good value. I recommend the satay chicken and the crispy pork soy garlic sauce.
Looks nothing on the outside but once inside the food is out of this world, you know it's good when you're the only English people in there and the rest are all Chinese. I would say very possibly the best Chinese meal I've ever eaten*****

We visit York once or twice a year and this is one of the restaurants we frequent. Most of the diners are Asian so that's a testament to the authenticity of the dishes. I love how diverse the menu is (Sichuan, Cantonese, Taiwanese, Hakka) and most importantly, not one single dish has ever disappoint
