Very friendly welcome, and the fish was excellent !!, and a very good portion of chips, to go with the fish. Will definitely go back to gale Lane fisheries, when I visit York.

Great fish and chips and when you unwrap them, the wrapping paper is not soaked in fat/cooking oil so they are much healthier to eat than many other chippies offerings.
I would gladly recommend them to my friends and family.
