Absolutely delicious food! Best I’ve ever tried, and the burgers are unreal! Feels like the allfather made these in his golden halls!! Also can go axe throwing after eating!! I recommend visiting! + The cider was really good aswell

Staff were great and the food was spot on. My hotdog was delicious, the kids loved the burgers, but the absolute winner was the wife's loaded fries with steak. Just what was needed after a long afternoon at the railway museum.

Fantastic bar. Wish we'd have found it sooner. My wife and I visited recently on our honeymoon and were blown away by the place. The decor. The staff. The food and the drinks menu. (Especially the delicious mead.) The staff are really friendly and helpful and are more than willing to help out if you need assistance. If you're in york on holiday or you live there and haven't tried it yet I would recommend it very highly. You won't be disappointed.

Stumbled across this randomly but I am so glad I did.
Ended up having a few drinks and great conversation with the owner.
Went back a few days later to try the food and I can honestly say it is one of the best burgers I have had. The dirty fries were also top notch.
Could not fault this place. Great atmosphere, great food and lovely staff.
Thanks Jacob for making our stay in York extra special!

Absolutely amazing!! Food was lovely , had the chicken dirty fries would definitely recommend but everything on the menu looked great. The Viking aesthetic was perfect for a place to eat in York. The owner was so lovely, had a really good chat with him, very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be going back.

The food here is SO good. Probably the best onion rings I’ve had. Stopped in on a visit from Manchester and the whole experience outdid expectations. Service was ace too, thanks guys!! Highly recommend this place.

Amazing place , we travelled to celebrate our aniversary in York and we found this place, from the moment you go inside, you can feel the good vibes the service is excellent and fast, the food is 10/10, they have the best Búfalo sauce ever, they also have a nice fun área for the viking s fans, if you like to throw an axe. I recomed this place 100%

Great find on our first visit to York. Great service from Charlie and his colleague. Burgers were immense, loved Thor's Hammer! Didn't realise until we left, you could do some axe throwing.
