The food has been consistently excellent here for my last few visits. It is cooked very nicely, full of flavour and generous in the portion sizes (not too much so, you're not over-faced).
The speed of service is good and the staff are always very friendly. There is also a good atmosphere about the place with the background music playing and the light, airy open space.
This eaterie is nicely situated on a massive retail park along with other establishment food outlets. Lots of parking and access round so should be no problem finding a space. Upon arrival, we were seated very quickly in one of the many booths that are situated around. Lots of great seating areas in a very spacious floor space for what looks from the outside as a smallish building. Served with our drinks and food order taken, with care to ask about allergies, which doesn't always happen in other food outlets. Food arrived hot and was absolutley delicious. Along with the great service and a nice little 'happy birthday' plaque on our table, all added to a great visit while we are visiting the York area. Highly recommend a pop in while on the retail park 👍

I came here this afternoon with my dad and stepmum for a catch up and we had such a lovely experience. Our server (I think Connie?) was absolutely fantastic!Very enthusiastic and attentive but not too overbearing. I work in the management team in a restaurant so understand the importance of good service and that is definitely what we received. The food was great. All of us ordered from the three course set menu and every bowl/plate was left empty by the end. I had the meatballs which was a very good size considering it’s a starter. This was followed by the carbonara which was delicious and the added chicken made it even better. The cookie dough dessert also went down a treat. Overall, it was a great experience and the restaurant itself looked very welcoming and cozy.
Loved it and the staff are fantastic! Food amazing too! It was my little boys birthday and they were great with the kids. Getting colouring and making them feel special.
Although the exact dish I ordered was not available the lovely waitress offered a really nice alternative. Had to remind the waitress of a coffee order but did get it knocked off the bill without asking. Overall really good
Food was fantastic the vegan options on the kids menu was amazing as my daughter has a milk allergy one of the best places yet for her. My only issue was the fact the kitchen started clean down and had music blasting then proceeded with swearing which I did make the comment to staff it wasn't acceptable for then when they have still got customers inside eating
Lovely staff, great service, gorgeous food! Fab overall experience! Shout out for Sara who was a brilliant waitress, and made mine and my kids experience that little bit better because of her great customer service! Thank you!
Thought we’d try this place again with tesco vouchers after having poor experiences in the past with food taking hours to come to the table ect today we had a very good experience. Can’t remember what our waitress was called she had blonde hair and very talkative and friendly. We were served quickly and drinks and starters came out very fast. I had garlic mushrooms and they were lovely maybe a bit more garlic next time and the pizzas were massive never finished them! All through our meal the waitress asked if we needed any drinks and if everything was ok. Best experience at Bella Italia yet! Hope the lady gets this review.
Really enjoyed it. Food was delicious, staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely clean place. Will visit again.
