Enoteca By L'uva

We visited Enoteca on Thursday evening after it being recommended by the staff at our hotel. We called in in the afternoon to book a table for later that night, when we arrived to dine we were greeted warmly. Service was speedy without feeling rushed and all the staff we're lovely, in particular the manager/owner whose name I didn't catch and Lynn, one of the waitresses who served us. We were a table of 3 and all ate from the 2 course set menu, all of our starters and main meals were delicious. Next time we're in York we'll definitely be heading back!

We visited Enoteca By L’uva on October 13, 2023. We both ordered the two course lunch. She ordered the tomato-basil soup and vegetarian lasagna, me antipasto and Diavolo pizza. The service was great (Soofyane), the atmosphere perfect, the staff attentive, yet not rushed. Superior ingredients, a lovely setting, an incredible meals.

One of my favourite in York when we fancy italian food. Such a friendly place, feels cosy and relaxing despite being in the buzz of the city. The pizzas are gorgeous and the lovely waitress always has a good wine recommendation. Today was my fifth time over the past 18 months, lovely waitress still here, with really nice smile and manner. Such a really nice place, not pretentious, humble but very good in all aspects. I'll keep going there and bring friends when they visit me over in York. Thank you to all staff for the lovely experience and great food each time.
