First time trying this bakery as staying locally at a certified location campsite. Absolutely best quiche and sausage roll we have had in ages. We wish we could go back for more but have moved to Whitby. We hope to return to Dunnington soon and will visit Pattacakes again. Sorry no photos as we ate every last crumb 😋 …
The cakes are beautifully decorated but they taste absolutely disgusting. The cupcakes are solid, the cakes are dry. We have tried flapjacks, brownies, various slices and haven’t had a good experience yet.

Nice lityoe village cafe, the hot sandwiches weren't the best, the sausages had a texture that hinted at them being microwaved, but their cakes and bakery items were excellent. Especially the brie quiche.
Was working nearby this morning and called in mid morning for a sandwich. Had the best bacon and tomato sandwich I've had for many a year. Proper Breadcake and crisp tasty bacon from kind friendly staff. Thank you.
Delightful village bakery, well worth travelling to. Great range of breads, savouries and sweets. We particularly liked the chilli scotch egg and the mediterranean veg roll on our last visit
