Fabulous landlord and team- so welcoming and friendly. Food and drinks were excellent. Lovely decking area plus seating outside the front of the pub. Really dog friendly too. Highly recommend. We will definitely be returning.
Decent village pub not far from York. A couple of cask ales on when I visited, but my pint of Wainwright's bitter was tired and past it's best. A shame, as service was good, the pub itself ticks lots of boxes... but you've got to get the beer right!

Called in to the grey horse in elvington for a drink. It's a nice cosy traditional English village pub. A good selection of beers and lagers including hand pulled cask conditioned real ale. There's a dart board in the bar and is dog friendly. There is a nice separate Lounge where they serve food.
