Found the Nags Head by accident, and so glad that we did. On the day we visited there was only the landlady working, but she was wonderful. A very happy lady and a real pleasure to talk to. We ordered six different meals (all different) and she prepared and served them all to us. They were delicious. If you get the chance look out for the Nags Head Inn and pop in. You will not be disappointed.
Great night. Myra landlady, is a great lady, had the pub over 40 years and the food is fab. Love it there.
Moyra is a wonderful lady and I can't believe she has been there 40 years. Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful service. beautiful garden and the view of the river it amazing.
Oh and can't forget the entertainment
What you would call a good old fashioned pub which serves homemade food and a good portion to boot piping hot on hot plates. Eat inside and out with a kiddies play area with lovely views and all at very reasonable price would highly recommend
Nice, down to earth friendly pub.. Definitely recommend it for walkers and other passers by. Good local pub. Lovely landlady
Was recommended to try the roast here on a Sunday so we did. Make sure you book and take cash only but it's worth it as it's a proper old school pub and unpretentious but delicious food.
Lovely food and very friendly people, a proper country pub.
