Place continues to be our favourite haunt. The people are wonderful, and the food is amazing. One day though they'll learn that those San Miguel glasses leave a hell of a mess.

We all had different things and everything was perfect, even my partners steak on his mixed grill was cooked exactly to his liking and he even struggled to finish it. Would highly recommend and we will be back for my birthday in October if not before.

Staff are amazing, always so happy and chatty creating a really relaxed environment. The fact you allow dogs is lovely, and Skye loves a visit and the extra fuss she gets.
Food wise, it can be hit and miss. Most of the food we've had has always been really good, however the chef does seem to like cooking things for longer than needed. Meat nearly always comes out burnt, and the last visit I tried the apple crumble. Great taste but again the edges were just over done (noone likes a burnt raisin).
We actually visited on a Sunday for the quiz night, and the staff did an amazing job looking after everyone with food and drink, considering we were all ordering at the same time.
The atmosphere and staff alone are the main reason we keep returning

Good food, nice service and reasonably clean. My husband and I felt as though we weren't too packed in close to any other tables which was nice. We had a bit of space around us.

Best experience we have had with our title one regarding allergies. Staff cannot do enough to make sure everything is safe. Each member of staff never makes us feel like we're making a fuss and they've even started remembering her allergies.
Play area is great and the kids zone is really nice so the kids can be kids.
Food is always great and AMAZING that they have vegan ice cream and other deserts for anyone with dairy and soya allergies as we cannot find anywhere local that allows us to all eat 2 courses together

Visit the clockworks regularly as live local.
Staff there are very friendly and polite, always service with a smile and make you feel welcome.
Burgers (particularly southern fried) along with fries are simply delicious and generous with portions. Other main menu items I've seen look and taste delicious.
Chicken and bacon club sandwich is beautiful and highly reccomended.
Desserts are declious and big portions.
Only criticism I'm afraid is the lunchtime menu. Friend and I ordered hunters chicken- chicken was very small, small handful of chips tea spoon of peas with no barbecue sauce? Please revise lunchtime menu as this can be a popular choice but not great value sadly.
Other than this, no issues and a really lovely place with nice food, great staff and atmosphere to eat out.

We were celebrating my 50 birthday, the food was very good, the staff were polite and helpful as I am a gluten free diet, the environment was clean and tidy, my only criticism is the menus we were given were tired and damaged, so new ones are needed, and as the restaurant got busy the staff seemed slightly over stretched. But they still did a good job, we have been to the clockworks many times, and we really enjoy it, so we will be back again.

Atmosphere was good, drinks served quickly and professionally, I was served by a lovely girl Chelsea, who was having probs with the touch screen drinks thingy & it probably. didn’t help with me making fun of the situation & playing her up. Fair play, she went along with it and kept her composure. (10/10 Chelsea) Food was excellent, (fish, chips and peas) good size portions, nicely cooked, didn’t have to wait long either & polite staff. Only two very minor points, it was rather hot in there, also I had to ask for napkins/serviettes. Other than that - I would recommend a visit.

We were greeted promptly by a member of staff in a friendly and professional manner. We were showed the different ways we could order. We ordered via the QR code and it was fast and easy to use and easy to customise your order. Our food arrived quickly, and was very tasty.
This was one of the first times taking our 14 month old out to eat where he could have something off the menu. I liked the idea of a menu for younger kids and one for older kids as my son won't eat typical kids food such as chicken nuggets and chips. He thoroughly enjoyed his pasta, mashed potato's, and beans (odd combo, but he loved it!) It was also nice that he could run around in the little playground outside before his food came, so he wasn't stuck in a highchair, which he can get fed up in fast.
The restaurant and toilets were very clean. Staff were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. It was nice that the staff brought a highchair to us. Often I've had to get one myself in other places, which is fine if I'm with someone else but a hassle if I'm on my own.
Overall, very happy with how our visit went and we will definitely be back!

Nice meal in a dog friendly pub. Quick service and helpful staff. I found the food to be a bit on the sweet side with additional sauce or dressing typically very sugary. Great desserts for when you do want a sweet hit though.
