Was okay squeaky beds hardly any sockets for charging devices but is what it is, baring in mind need money upfront for deposit ( was a stag do so might differ ) food was okay staff seemed friendly enough.

Been here a few times. Car park is just a short walk away and if you're lucky some street parking. I like the breakfast here, and price point is good and a good size. The place could do with a face lift but all the meals I've had here have been good value.

Couldn't recommend enough. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating in every way. To my surprise the beds were very comfy which I wouldn't normally expect from a hostel style accommodation. Rooms were quite hot but it was a record breaking heat wave and Wales isn't normally known for its extreme heat!

10/10 very welcoming staff very nice home cooked food I was passing and stopped had all day breakfast was spot on the very next day I had to go back and try out there corned beef pie 👍 I will be back very soon keep up the good work with the food and the amazing welcoming staff thank you do much

Stayed here as part of a stag weekend, staff were friendly, beer was cheap, food was OK generally, but the breakfast was good, and helped the recovery!
Beds were comfy, but the rooms are looking a little tired and could do with a refresh. Overall pretty good, have stayed in worse places for more money!

Just stayed the weekend at Merlin's and it was amazing!!!! Rooms were nice and clean, food was good, but what topped it for us all was that the staff were so friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend whether it's for a stag do (which it was for us) or just a weekend away. They also offer different activities which were great. I personally recommend the canyoning, was definitely the highlight of our weekend.
