Beautiful pub with a gorgeous garden. We came as a family after recommendations from a family friend. We ordered dinner and the food was outstanding and the portion sizes where very generous. Good beer and wine selection at the bar too.

Only ate here on the way to Devon but what a brilliant find!!! Eccentric old pub with a friendly pub cat and delicious food! Wish we lived closer. Staff were amazing and food was top notch. Very pleased to have stubbled upon it! Go if you can. You won’t be disappointed.
Delicious food, really enjoyed the vegetable gratin. Lots of interesting nooks with tables tucked away in. A fantastic garden for eating outside on a nice day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.
It's set back from the main road so very peaceful and with good parking Food and service were good I had a beef burger and fries The meat was succulent and the chips were crispy Definitely recommend if you're in the area
stayed overnight , lovely pretty comfortable room , great value , the pub is very attractive and the food was outstanding , all staff professional and super friendly , wished we could have stayed longer , will be back !

We had a wonderful dinner here last night. The service from all three employees we interacted with was top notch. The atmosphere was super cozy and warm, I felt like I was having dinner at my Nana’s house. My pie was delicious, even the buttered vegetable were cooked perfectly. My wife’s also thoroughly enjoyed her chicken burger. Edit: we liked it so much we went twice in one week.
My partner and I popped up to our local last night for dinner. Absolutely fantastic food and service! Belly Pork was amazing and huge portion and the curry was incredible! - huge compliments to the Chef.
