Nice food & drink for a great price. The poker night makes me all warm and tingly inside. And Ross who hosts the quiz may be the sexiest man I've ever had the privilege of meeting.

I hail from the great state of Wisconsin in the USA and chose to spend this summer in Scotland to be with my girlfriend. Even though I still have a little shy of a month left in Aberdeen, I am already deeply saddened that I am going to have to say goodbye to The Triple Kirks when the leaves start falling and I return stateside this September. Other than my girlfriend (nothing personal, TK), this restaurant is what I will miss the very most about Scotland and indeed all of the United Kingdom. This place has instilled in me such a devotion and fondness that I feel it is my moral obligation to write a 5 star review to at least do my part to push the Triple Kirks nearer to the 5 stars overall it deserves on facebook. So I would just like to write my ode - or, more accurately, my love letter - to Triple Kirks to hopefully muffle out some of the rather petulant and unreasonable reviews I've read on here. Other than a restaurant I grew up with in my hometown in Wisconsin, this is the best restaurant I've ever experienced. This place is perfect. To begin with, genuinely the most culture shock I have felt in my time in Scotland is the price of burgers compared to burgers in the USA. What the heck? Burgers in Scotland cost me a king's ransom - but NOT at The Triple Kirks. And furthermore, a Triple Kirks burger is one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It is a rarity for me to buy food and firmly feel every cent (or, I suppose, pence) was spent well. The portions here are just perfect as well. Well rounded, and always leaving me just enough room to finish off my meal with the very well-priced chocolate cake I've become quite taken by. And I also have to mention the fries. Even I think it's weird that I feel this way, because I have no idea why I do, but the fries here are actually the #1 best I've ever tasted. They are incredible. Maybe it's the salt? I don't know. But I've been craving the fries on the daily. Then, of course, there is everything else not food related. It is as if this place broke into my mind and isolated everything I personally feel would make an amazing restaurant, and then made a restaurant out of that information. Not only is there local Scottish beer I can't get in The States, but rotating crafts as well that I DEFINITELY can't get in The States. And, of course, no perfect place would be complete without a pool table, which Triple Kirks has. The music is always on point and never too loud. There is a lot of seating and it's all comfortable. And wifi! Free wifi has ensured that I don't just stop at coming here almost virtually every single day (I've been here each day this week), but that I also spend hours here as well working on everything which I need to do. And then there are the things that just go up and beyond, like the fact that this place offers free cell-phone charging and the ability to print a few pages if somebody needs to. Board games too! That is all just extra credit at this point! Gravy! But it proves that Triple Kirks really is a place interested in making the lives of their customers just a little bit easier with these small touches I hardly ever seen. The printing thing is something I don't think I've EVER seen actually. This is what a restaurant with a soul looks like. I could go on and on and on with the accolades - about, perhaps, the fantastic art choices like the framed picture of a homeless Big Bird or just a crow in the middle of nowhere, or even just the appealing lighting - because I love every single thing here. And if it came to criticisms, literally the only thing I can think of is that I really don't believe ranch sauce is what Triple Kirks thinks ranch sauce is. I only say that because I am from the gluttonous state of Wisconsin and I have been having rather severe ranch sauce withdrawals since I got here, of course. But my ranch sauce is quite different, and white, in comparison to the still admittedly tasty sauce called ranch that is here. I'm not sure what that stuff is. I like it a lot, but it's not ranch. Also, the bathroom seldom has soap in its dispenser. But beyond that, I got nothing negative to say. Nothing! I wish I could bring this place back home. And I wish all bar and restaurant employees were cut from the same cloth as the ones here. Darren, and Gemma, are the only two names I recall off-hand, but I also would like girl with dark hair bun, nice blondish girl with tattoos, similarly thin man, curly haired man, and all the cooks in the kitchen and anyone else I forgot or was unable to interact with to know that you've all been the best in the business and I won't forget you all or Triple Kirks. I love this place. Thanks for the memories. - With love from an American man who hardly ever even writes restaurant reviews.

I had the Peri Peri wings and they were amazing. The atmosphere was laid back and we sat on the patio with our dog and drank some Brewdog Punk IPAs. Service was great, we will be back.

Had the "Boozy Brunch" with the vegan Scottish breakfast and cocktails. Cocktails were absolutely delicious and having 6 cocktails included in the £25 price was great. A bit disappointed with the vegan breakfast as it seemed like things were removed to make it vegan without substituting anything, and there was no spread for the toast, but what was there tasted great. Drinks were made really quickly after ordering and the staff were lovely.

Place is very nice and cosy. Accessible central location. Staff are nice and service was very good. Their tapas sized sharer side dishes are all awesome. The only thing we didn't like was that we requested a corner table and they gave us something right at the entrance by the snooker table and although there were other inside corner tables available nobody made an effort to arrange that for us. Apart from this and a bit of slow service during busy period, overall it was a good experience. Recommended place.

Had a wee visit here after visiting family in Aberdeen. Came in alone but was instantly met by Andy who made me feel very welcomed and comfortable here. He recommended me a nice cocktail and a small plate which were both absolutely incredible. The food and drink would have been enticing enough but Andy has made me definitely want to come back!

Had a great time at triple kirks, the bar is dog friendly which was a bonus. Food and drinks were great and the boozy brunch is a steal at $25 for 6 drinks and a brunch meal. Service was amazing and Kaley was great and friendly. Highly recommend!
