La Poblanita Mexican Cafe

This used to be my favorite place but not anymore. It seems like they get worse every time I go there. Today I had the flavorless nachos. Once again they had no onions, no limes and no lemons. The steak was tasteless and way over cooked. Their answer to the end of the pandemic seems to be remodel, reduce the portions and raise the prices. Hope Chipotle comes here soon!

Apparently, there is a "national shortage" of difficult to acquire items like pico de gallo and guac (tomatos, onion, peppers and avacados...impossible to suppliment with fresh veggies at the Harris Teeter 200 meters away....) although nowhere else seems to be in such a crisis....and then you get to the register and (see photo) they tell you AFTER ordering that their prices are higher than advertised on their board....cause it IMPOSSIBLE to put a piece of tape over your incorrect (apparently) prices and write in the correct price... Instead lets wait to the last possible second once they are commited to tell them we are out of the good topping and have increased prices Extremely unimpressed.

I am beyond disappointed. I ordered 4 chicken bowls and one Burrito which came to $49. The restaurant in Aberdeen NC was nasty and dirty stuff all over the floor. On top of it it’s like I ordered veggies instead of chicken bowls. The server put barely any chicken in my bowls. The guy server told the girl to do only one scoop of chicken after I questioned her about the 3 pieces of chicken which was less than a scoop. Next time I’m going to drive that hour to Chipotle. At Chipotle I get a lot of chicken in my bowl and it’s always clean. Never again

Great place to take a hungry family! Portions are big, prices are good, & everything is made to order. They offer tofu along with all the meats, so everyone is happy eating here. Go on Monday & get the $6 deal - a HUGE burrito filled with all your favorites, chips & salsa, & a drink. Best deal in town on a Monday night. My kids really love the custom drink machine too.. get a cherry vanilla Dr Pepper! I also like that this restaurant raises money for the community. Great place all around!

We don’t have a Chipotle here in town so I decided to give Moe’s a try. Too expensive and the food was just not good. The meat wasn’t flavorful enough, the chips tasted like cardboard, salsa was either tomato-y tasting or spicy hot, not spicy interesting. As a coke drinker I will say that they had good coke, haha but that’s not a good enough reason to eat some where. The restaurant was clean, employees were nice and prompt, the line moved quickly and our food was a good temperature.
