Sonic Drive-in

Went at 8:30 on Saturday night. Pressed the service button. After several minutes, no one had even spoken at all to greet or take an order or even ask for a moment, nothing. The server running the food to the customers had her mask pulled off her face, below her chin. Which is better than the cooks, who you could see through the giant window had zero masks on whatsoever. And only 3 other cars there at all, not overly busy to not be able to even try to take an order. Very, very poor service and safety. So I left and drove across the street to cookout. They actually took my order, and were wearing masks as well.

This Sonic is right next to the car wash I use. Since it's a full service car wash, I often have the idea of stopping by next door at Sonic to grab a bite to eat while my car is being cleaned, and it turns out to be a bad idea every single time. On the rare occasion I'm met with timely service at this Sonic, the order turns out to be wrong or the food is either over or under cooked. The last two times I've been here, I waited so long for them to take my order that I just ended up leaving, either because I got tired of waiting or because my car was finished before they bothered to take my order....this was during a time when the restaurant wasn't that busy, mind you. Overall, I've always been a fan of Sonic, but this specific location can't seem to get their act together, and I've stopped in from time to time over the past two years. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially considering there are several other options within a stone's throw.
