We were looking for a fish and chip shop in aberdeen and decided to visit fish n hook. Best fish and chips for a long time! Lovely light batter and the freshest fish. The fish cakes were well flavoured and homemade very tasty. good sized portions we will be back on our next trip up to Aberdeen.

A previous reviewer wrote the fish n' chips here were "to die for." So, on our way back to Edinburgh, we detoured to Aberdeen so our fish loving friends could taste for themselves. It's true, they said. This is the best. A single serving of the lightly battered haddock is enough to feed two adults.

It is probably the best chippy I’ve tried. Deserve to have won the best chippy in Scotland. We ordered

- Haddock 4*
- Onion rings 4*
- Macaroni pie 3*
- Fish cake 2* (too much potatoe. Hardly any fish)
Despite taking 25mins to reach our destination, the batter was still crispy. I wonder what premium oil they used to present the freshness.
Only a takeout. No place to eat!
