Been going to the dil raj for many years now. Takeaways and meals there including the buffet. Never received anything other than great service and quality food. Very nice atmosphere inside for a meal.

Was in this part of the world from kent, having won an item on eBay!! So while here had a stroll around town & thought we'd have a meal before setting of on return journey.
Indian being mine & my better halfs favourite came across this restaurant. It was excellent, the food & service was very good, very welcomed, would highly recommend.
We are a group of 25 people participating in Abingdon twinning with Argentan in France, who came on a Friday evening. The courses offered were varied, the food delicious. The setting was very pleasant, the decoration of the rooms immersed us in the Indian universe. The servers were very cheerful, attentive and warm despite the pressure to which they were subjected because of the large number of customers present that evening. The atmosphere was therefore very friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Fab meal.... easily the best indian we've had, possibly ever!! Service was great, nice and busy so a lovely atmosphere. Good value too.... thanks and we'll be back
The food was very good especially the Garlic nan with the korma combo and the staff were nice. I really enjoyed the atmosphere. Gives off a real indian vibe. The only bad thing about the place is that the water tasted very bad. But as we paid for the bill the waiter gave us hot towels that felt good and chocolate. Great expierence and reasonable price

I used to work at this place a decade and half ago and today I went there for a meal. It has changed drastically and for the better. The carpets been changed, new furniture's and fixtures been added and given it a more chic vibe. The waiting area has been converted to accommodate more sitting where you can actually dine as well. As for food, I don't know about the rest apart from the Kolapuri which is the hottest dish on the menu which I had. The recipe has changed completely and I wouldn't say it's either for the better or worse but it's different and I enjoyed it and cold beverages out of a tap is something I always enjoy.
Excellent service. Really nice starter,quite hot though. The shashlick is amazing,strongly recommended.
The other two main dishes were well cooked,but not of our taste.

The food is excellent and there is a wide range of vegetarian options to choose from. The interior and atmosphere are perfect and the service is attentive without being intrusive.
Looks empty when you look through the window but main dinning area is further back and quite busy. Staff are very polite and service is very good. Food is very tasty and reasonably priced. I would highly recommend this resteraunt.
