Visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time. Their extensive menu carries nearly 300 items of Cantonese and Szechuan dishes. I quite liked its bright and light colour decor, unlike some old style traditional Chinese restaurants. Dim Sum and the specially made soup were superb.

Amazing food and great service! The restaurant was recommended by a friend as “authentic and just like home”. Though I can’t judge that for myself, I believe it is true. Will be sure to return!

My Old China - A Hidden Treasure of Authentic Chinese Cuisine My Old China is an undiscovered gem that serves truly authentic Chinese food. As someone who has sampled Chinese cuisine from many restaurants across the globe, I can confidently say that this establishment is one of the finest I have experienced thus far. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the restaurant's warm and welcoming ambiance, which was only enhanced by the attentive and friendly staff. The menu is extensive, offering a diverse range of dishes that cater to every palate. What sets My Old China apart from other Chinese restaurants is the unadulterated, rich flavors of their dishes. The food tasted genuinely authentic, allowing me to savor the essence of Chinese culinary artistry in every bite. In summary, My Old China is a hidden treasure that deserves recognition for its exceptional cuisine and service. If you're in London and craving an unforgettable Chinese dining experience, do yourself a favor and visit this remarkable restaurant. Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Unparalleled authentic Chinese cuisine, exceptional service, and a diverse menu make My Old China a must-visit destination.

The restaurant has great decor, the staff were very welcoming and the food was good. The prices were reasonable and it’s a local business therefore will always support independent businesses to succeed

1. Good service 2. Nice venue 3. The food was good too. Prawn dumplings were a bit sticky but the custard buns were excellent. I didn’t like my fish sliced congee. Overall, I would recommend the restaurant for nice Chinese food that is not all the way to China town. It was packed just after 12 pm so best make a reservation.

Very nice service, very good Hong Kong & Chinese food. They have a good Hongkonger chef! After trying the Chinese food here, it appears to me to be foolish to have Chinese food at China Town.

Exceptional. A joy. Food is simply great. I sat facing the kitchen because you can see through two big windows showing their pride a work. Not only my prawn chow mien came out piping hot it was also a good portion. The manager looked a bit stressed but I guessed because he was busy. The kitchen looked so very clean so I checked underneath my plates for grease but they were squeaky clean. Keep up the good work.

Came here on the hottest day in the year so far and was grateful for the air conditioning. We had a mix of dim sum which consisted of salt and pepper squid, bbq pork puff, turnip cake, congee with pork and crispy roasted pork. Everything was delicious and authentic. Apart from the crispy pork which was more fat than meat and the fat wasn’t rendered enough. The chilli oil was powdery, which may have been because we were given the bottom of the jar. But these are minor improvements than can be made. The place was busy for a Tuesday. The staff were friendly and attentive enough. Music would have been a nice touch. Update: we visited again and enjoyed salt and pepper squid, chicken satay and prawn dumplings. If you don’t eat pork, there is very limited dim sum options. All the dishes were tasty. However don’t order the roasted duck rice, the pak choi, and sauce were delicious, but the roasted duck was so dry. A disappointing end to our meal. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. They topped up our jasmine tea, and gave us wipes and fortune cookies, as well as sweets for the children. I would still go back, but I wouldn’t order the duck.
