Funky Gibbon Cafe

Experienced my first visit here, and will never return. The cafe was empty when I entered, and the barista was rude and seemed incredibly inconvenienced by my presence during the order. While I was waiting, she also took what sounded like a personal call on loudspeaker. The level of service left a lot to be desired, the entire ordeal made me feel like some kind of annoyance to her. As soon as my order was ready she aggressively barked across the cafe to inform me and didn’t even make eye contact as she handed it to me, simply walking straight off and into the back room again. The coffee could have been the best I’d ever tasted but I still wouldn’t be setting foot in this establishment again given this barista’s contempt for her customers. In such a competitive location for a cafe, treating customers this way makes zero sense.

Even rating this place as one star is a lie. Google reviews should have a zero rating option. Lady at the counter appeared to be inconvenienced by a customer's presence and simply had no manners at all. So weird that I didn't even finish my order and walked out. Horrendous place. Plenty of other options - no problems!
