The almond milk late I had in store (in a ceramic (?) cup was outstanding. Very smooth and creamy. Usually I just drink an expresso, no sugar. Very impressed by the plant based latte I had on that day.

Normally like Hudsons Coffee, but got one here recently that tasted more like milk. Worse was the pie I bought - and not only burnt my mouth, but also my hand when the gravy squeezed out the side. I'm sure the girl I told thought I was just being fussy (didn't even check the pie warmer), however, my hand and lip both ended up blistered.

Great coffee and foods. Recently the cafe has been renovated, the new look is great. Lots more seating and a nice atmosphere.
Given the speed they get your coffee and food out its still high quality and fresh.

Great coffee.. I think the best on Adelaide and lovely little snacks. Always clean usually busy in this location but very very efficient. We had the minestrone soup served with wholemeal bread & butter in pottery (not paper) dinnerware & s/s spoons..yummy

Big sign in the hall way says download the app for 1st coffee free, did that and filled out all the questions. Asked at the counter about the free coffee (showed them it in the app) the girl looked at the manager who rudely said "No! System down" sounded like a straight up lie. Still orderd a standard latte (Barista's Choice blend) and I got a bland milky weak coffee. Very average coffee. As they have a captive market and no genuine competition they can get away with being below average. (I am a trained barista and their barista choice is not a good choice) Will never return again.

Hi,
While writing this review, I was trying not to get personal (with any person or organization) and just trying to share my experience with the facts. I would like to pass a message to the person responsible for the act so that this will not happen with anybody else; however, if you think this is a targeted post, then put it in the rubbish.
I didn’t get the chance to have anything from this outlet; but, I am writing this review because of the behavior of one of the person working there (This has nothing to do with the “Hudson Coffee”) in the morning of Daffodil Day 2018 (Friday 24th, 2018).
I was volunteering for Cancer Council at Flinders Private Hospital selling merchandise and flowers. People were so excited and we were getting overwhelming response, and of course, we need some change.
I went to the Hudson Coffee to get the change. There were two counters and I queued on the one which has one customer as other one got three. On my turn, I asked the guy (he might be the owner or the manager) for the change and he told me (in whispering), “never come here again”. I thought I might have heard him correctly, so I said “Sorry” and he said “go to the other counter”. I said “ok” and queued over the other counter.
I was thinking that I definitely heard him wrong and a bit embarrassed. On my turn, I asked the girl for the change and she looked at me and then start looking to the same guy. He came to the counter and told me very rudely “we don’t have the change. And never come here again”.
For a minute I was frozen and I don’t know what to do. There was no customer nearby so that made him loud. I was not expecting this attitude from the guy. I am wearing Cancer Council’s volunteering shirt along with my name badge. He could have said this to me nicely if he had any issues or had no change.
Anyway, I walked out taking the worse experience since I arrived in Australia nearly about 2 years back. And a trauma as it took me a while to become myself again. I don’t know whether it was categorized as racism or not since both of us were colored. He was greeting other people with a smile; but, not to me.
Anyway, I told my colleague and she said they have lost some of their customers today and she walked 7-10 minutes to get the coffee from another coffee shop nearby.
One of my friends asked me to write this review so he should be careful and should not miss-treat anyone in future. I personally have no grudge with him and I forgive him on the same day.

Ordered soy mocha... tasted like diluted soy milk with no coffee and weak powdered coco... asked if they could remake it politely and was told that i was wrong. They would not make a fresh one.. instead they added a shot of coffee to the one that tasted awful. Girls making coffee openly complained that a customer wasnt happy... made me feel very uncomfortable.... i always get soy mochas from other cafes... this by far was the worst id ever had... customer service was shocking.. and not impressed about the comments made by staff. Terrible service... will not return. They should read the definition of customer service.

A vibrant, sunny place for coffee, a treat & lunch before my appointment. Although I must make sure I order the coffee & cake first to make sure that's when I get it. Then place the lunch order. Oh and specify in a clear voice "to have here please."
