Target

I've been shopping at this Target since 2014, and honestly it was a fantastic store even before the most recent renovations they've made! I've only ever had 1 unpleasant employee interaction in all these years, every other employee has been kind, helpful, knowledgeable, etc. The store is pristine (seriously, you could eat off the floor), shelves are well stocked and neat, and the specialty sales department staff very helpful. With all the recent improvements they've made here, this location easily rivals any big-city Target.

This Target store is conveniently located off Homer Adams Parkway. Large parking lot with plenty of parking. Hasn't been overly crowded in the store whenever I've shopped there. I love Target, but I wish they could keep their shelves stocked. Target Circle is great for helping to save money and the wallet option lets you check out fast. I was happy to walk right up to the register and have my items checked out. Other Targets I have visited have LONG lines. I usually shop at Target for groceries, but I also occasionally buy clothing or items for my home. Being able to order through the app and drive up to get my things is nice, especially with COVID. Delivering to my home is great too!

I was just at the Alton, IL store to set up a new phone. I want Target to be aware that LAWRENCE in the electronics dept was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I had been dealing with my previous provider for 8 longs days trying to cancel my account so I could get set up with a new provider. LAWRENCE was able to get my provider to provide the information needed so that my number could remain the same. Information mind you they wouldn't even give me as a customer. He knew the procedures and how to operate the new phone like a pro. THANKS LAWRENCE FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND SHOWING WHAT TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS ALL ABOUT!!!

Been going in here for years (never because I wanted to, just the closest place) and don't think I've ever met a nice employee here. Heads down, frowning, avoiding interactions with customers at all cost. Ask someone something and they get passive aggressive. Not to mention the store is as run down as anything despite their prices being 1.5x Walmart/Amazon. If you like a depressed shopping experience similar to what you might find in North Korea, this is your place.
