Loved the outside of the pub, the staffs are friendly, welcoming and helpful and it's impossible not to talk about the food. It’s delicious, fresh and quality. Highly recommendation :))

I had soup to start...Red pepper and pesto with gorgeous sourdough bread. The soup was the best I have ever eaten. The pie was beautiful, tarragon and great quality ingredients stood out. Lovely country pub atmosphere. I absolutely recommend.

Food was genuinely excellent- home cooked pub style food served brilliantly
Staff were very attentive
£125 for 3 courses & wine 🍷 for 2 of us so it’s a special rather than a regular visit
Toilets were very clean 🧽

A little gem of a pub, nestled in the small village of Coleshill. Such a warm welcome from the staff and genuinely amazing food. A cracking roast and a sticky toffee pudding that beats the best restaurants in London.

The perfect village pub!
We went here on a Thursday evening, and were greeted by very welcoming and friendly staff (including the pub dog).
The service was brilliant and the food was excellent. Great flavours and very ample portions.
Would highly recommend a visit and will be going here again ourselves.

Don’t know where to start. From the moment we
arrived we knew we were in for a treat. The pub was packed creating a fantastic atmosphere which you rarely see in pubs these days. We chose to go for the traditional Sunday roast which was stunning. Melt in the mouth pork belly with crunchy crackling lots of fresh veg and the best yorkie I’ve had for a long time. The pub is set in a beautiful location. It’s heart warming to see a “proper pub” doing so well. Kudos to the owners as they have got it right 👍 Don’t miss this one you’ll love it :)

The Red Lion is a lovely place to go to! The staff were friendly and welcoming. The pub is well decorated and very stylish. The food was delicious and tasty and the portions were great too! The wait was quite long but it was definitely worth it! I would definitely go back for lunch/ dinner.

Went for lunch and had the beef & Guinness pie which was tender & delicious with a good variety of beers and cider on tap to wash it down with. Allow a little time if it’s busy, staff were cheerful and efficient, cosy, friendly environment. Enjoyed it.
