Great little Italian restaurant. I've been here many times before and always enjoyed it. When I bring friends to Ampthill, we almost always end up here. They have a couple of vegan options that are labeled on the menu, if you would like vegan cheese or gluten free, you'll need to call ahead, but they are very accommodating.

Had a meal out with friends, the atmosphere and service was great. The food was delicious, I had the jekyll and Hyde spaghetti bolognese and Margareta pizza, it was soooo good!
The prices are reasonable and there's enough choice without being overwhelming. We were told the kitchen was experiencing a shortage of staff that night, but you wouldn't have known, the restaurant was packed and everyone seemed happy.
If you want a relaxed night out, with amazing food, come here.

We went on Thursday about 6pm, which was very quiet. We sat outside for drinks and thankfully our waitress suggested we move inside, she saved us as it absolutely threw it down outside after! 😂 the pizza was incredible, perfect base, very cheesy, delish. My partner loved the spaghetti too. Staff are all so jolly and friendly, very welcoming and has a small family business atmosphere 🥰🍕

I love Donatello's. It's a proper Italian restaurant with a great, cozy atmosphere. The pizzas are the best and the service is spot on. I've been 3 times in the last 2 months and each time has been a great experience. Prices are reasonable, too. 😊👌

Last Saturday we went back to this restaurant after being in Italy for a week. It just brought it all back with the traditional decor. Service was great and we stayed the whole night . Great food , good value and good friends. Look forward to the next visit with whoever we go with.

Wonderful, attentive waitress. Despite a full restaurant, we were served our drinks immediately, and it was not a long wait for food either - which was delicious as always.
