My wife and I stayed here for 1 night while we were away celebrating our 13th wedding anniversary. The room itself was very nicely equipped but a bit smaller than we expected. The bed was ok but I would have preferred a harder mattress but that's my personal preference. Downside was the amount of noise from outside. The old single glazed windows meant you could literally hear people's conversations as they walked past the building. The view was nice and overall we enjoyed our night away

Lovely off-season stay at the Sailor’s Rest. Pretty modern room, spectacular view, comfy bed, room a good temperature, fab shower, fridge with fresh milk … perfect. Breakfast included which was at the Royal George just up the road and was delicious. Beautifully hosted by Sascha, thanks for a lovely stay.

What a fantastic place to stay. Right on the front overlooking the Torrance river. Room was comfortable, well appointed, and fashionably shabby chic too. Small bathroom but great shower.

We stayed at Sailors Rest Friday 16/09, and highly recommend this accommodation - we were in room 6 - a lovely well- appointed room, comfy kingsized bed.Lovely little touches from the full sized bath sheets, to the bottle of milk in the small fridge. Breakfast was included in the price - in the separate Royal George (just a short walk away) was superb, we will be back.
