Stay in dundee only fish bar I will ever use .best fish in the world. This place has a que while other 2 shops in same street are empty speaks volumes for this place.cant wait till 4th august when there holidays are opened.sorry for only 5 stars this place is worth a million times more.

This place is a gem. Honestly hadn't been in years ( we're obviously not local) and it hasn't changed one little bit! The wee nick nacks, hand written menu board and the stars of the show (apologies to busy young ladies serving) the 2 guys running the place haven't aged a day! Love it! MonTheLichties!

The waiting time wasn't too bad, the staff were friendly and polite. I wasn't keen on the batter they used for the fish but it still tasted good.

Came across this place by chance. Looked popular so gave it a try. Lovely fresh fish and golden chips. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Fish and chips sitting by the harbour on a sunny August evening. Great.

They don't do mushy peas so went for pickled onions.
Love mushy peas so 1 point off.
I got the Fish Supper, which was huge
Fish was lovely and flakey. Batter was crispy and crunchy with a couple wee burnt bits. Brings on the flavour!!
Chips are the best I've tasted. Way better than The Silvery Tay!!
Boyf got the Steak Pie Supper. Now, if anyone has read my recent chippy reviews. My Boyf likes an oval pie. This was ROUND. 😂 NO biggie though cause the crust was a nice thick crust.
So no complaints.
Meat in the steak pie was nice. No gristle. And pastry was nice and crunchy. Boyf liked the chips too.
Personally I would say this was the best chippy tea I've had in ages!!

Good old fashioned chippy by far the best in town,wish we had such a chippy in EK food spot on fresh made and plentyful well done guys,never sell out like the rest!
