Amazing little place. Take my uncle who has downs syndrome in there twice a week for breakfast. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We are always having a laugh with them. The food is also fantastic and if something you fancy isn't on the menu they will always try and accommodate. Well done Grocer Chef!!

What a wonderful place! Me, my parents, my 4 year old, 2 year old and collie were all warmly welcomed and made to feel very comfortable, the food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere and staff were so friendly! Highly recommend!

A lovely friendly cafe in the beautiful village of Ardington. 2nd visit today and I felt like an old friend. The full English breakfast here is superb, a good plateful and excellent value. Do not miss it!! 😊

My friend and I had a wonderful afternoon tea on Saturday at The Grocer Chef. The standard of the food was absolutely outstanding and the members of staff were all so lovely. I’ve paid much more for afternoon teas in other places but never had such a wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes.

We sat outside in the sun with a very pleasant drink and cake, the seating was comfortable and the place was very busy, able to cope with a large number of cyclists who arrived while we were there.

Great food friendly staff and great service.
The food is really good and this is our favourite place to stop for breakfast when we’re walking our dog. He also loves the ice cream
The outdoor covered seating is brilliant and provides good shelter on a wet day

Only stopped for a flying visit, nice coffee and chocolate and orange cake, friendly staff, nice location and nice vibe.worth making an afternoon of it and visiting the Ardington Millennium Stones.
