Came across this cosy pub while visiting Ascot had a delicious lunch then ended up coming back the same evening for dinner(!) was super tasty- highly recommended, staff very welcoming and will certainly come back next time :)

It's amazing hidden pub with lovely garden and playground plus vineyard.
Despite comments about the staff we had amazing service. The gentleman who welcomed and served us together with the lady offering pudding was so friendly and professional with sense of humour and advised us for the Sunday special pork belly.
Drinks are refreshing even we haven't had coctails their list is huge compared with other pubs. Price is good as well.
Pleasant location, inside and out seating options. For food see menu. Friendly staff. Minimal wait time. NB the tiramisu dessert is a cake. Would definitely re- visit.
Popped into The Rose & Crown for a late lunch while in the area on a Saturday afternoon.
Very covid safe, tables spaced apart. The staff were very friendly, clean pub and facilities.
The fishcakes were delicious, burger and fries were tasty. However, the chicken was bland, which was disappointing.
The dessert wasn't too sweet and the marmalade with it was lovely.
The pub started to fill up from 5.30pm with a nice atmosphere, the pub has a nice decor and lovely fireplace.
Probably one of the best meals I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying.
I had the fish and chips. The batter was light and crispy with meaty fish the chips where again perfect.
I had a taste of the my dads steak, that was better than the fish and chips. It was an absolute delight to try and will be my choice next time I go.

Food was good to satisfactory, we had the fish finger sandwich (excellent) the child's beefburgers with cheese (also excellent) and the crispy chicken wrap (chicken was a bit dry)
The serving staff were super friendly and couldn't be more welcoming.
Went for Sunday lunch and they fitted us in at really short notice. The beef and belly of pork roasts were delicious and there was plenty of it. The Yorkshire puddings were huge and tasty. Would definitely recommend the roast dinners and will be back. Many thanks

Very nice gastro pub. Tastefully done up. Good food, classic pub stuff really mostly but done well. Decent selection of beer and wine.
Good food, real ales and friendly staff. Unfortunately pretty empty when we went (weekday early afternoon) so not much atmosphere.
