Really friendly well kept pub under recently new management. Tasty food, very good value;- menu included locally sourced products. The chef has clearly travelled and has brought some lovely global flavours to the kitchen here. Didn't sample the alcohols, had a double expresso it was Illy coffee and they were happy to give me a dash of fresh cream to go with it. Happy as you like, visit again. :)
Great Easter Sunday, we were well accommodated as a large family of 10 and two high chairs and a dog. We all ordered separately but the food arrived all at the same time and was lovely, everything looked cooked fresh even the Sunday roast. Would recommend.
Nice town pub, with very well prepared and presented food, good variety including options for vegetarians. The Goat’s cheese on flat bread was tasty, the salad very fresh and the home style chips delicious. Nice ale too, recommend after a jaunt in the Peak District!
Quaint English pub in the middle of Ashbourne. Food is exceptional for the price and brags excellent pub lunches. Clean and tidy interior with a log burner fireplace. Staff friendly and helpful. They have a lot of great lunchtime deals which is good, but be careful, be aware, I was nearly charged full price for two meals within a deal meal menu. There is also an on street eating and drinking area and a beer garden. Well worth a visit

Nice friendly welcome. Staff were very helpful giving advice on menu. There we're only 2 vegan options on the menu and my husband and I both went for the tofu and leek pie which came with chips, mushy peas and a rich gravy, it was very tasty. Would definitely go again if we were in the area again
Lovely place didn't have food on this visit but it looked and smelled really good. The staff are nice and friendly and looks like they have some good equipment on over the weekend.

Absolutely lovely meal, Coach and Horses Sharer good value and so much food we couldn't finish it. Lovely atmosphere, the bar staff were polite, friendly and really attentive without intruding. 10 our of 10 will definitely return
Very good food, generous portions, so much that I brought what we couldn't eat, home with me. The young lady who served us was very helpful in finding me a box and then a bag to carry the box in, as it was raining and we had a long walk back to our cars!!
