I find this place to be exceptionally clean compared to alot of take away services available. The food was served fast and service was with a smile. First timers at this place, but I cannot fault it.

Had take away last night, called in order and collected. Food was ready on time and I could see the kitchen which was super clean. Staff were so friendly. When I got food home it was all present,hot and was delicious. I would definitely recommend and will be using again 👍

Golden Hill serves consistently good food and is always efficient at preparing the dishes. Whenever we phone to order, the food is usually ready after about ten minutes. The service is always polite and friendly. I had a particularly tasty Satay Chicken today, which was packed with peppers, carrots and onions. Drunken Dynamite is another favourite!

Excellent food. You will struggle to find any better. Even looked great in the tubs and on the plate, the freshness shows in the colours of the ingredients. Its Restaurant quality to take away. I went here by chance while in the area on thursday 16th. Also nice staff and shop is nicely decorated. Probably good that I live so far away outside of the UK or I'd be here every single night.

Reasonable prices for good food. Can get busy at times. Phoning through orders helps. Staff always friendly and efficient. Parking available on the market place opposite makes it easy to collect.

We’re on holiday locally and wanted a Chinese. I read the reviews and was concerned but due to lack of competition in Ashbourne I decided to risk it and give the Chinese a try. I have to say I’m so pleased I did as it was lovely! They were accurate with their timings (and it’s a Friday night) plus all the dishes were a good temperature and really tasty

Problems: the food is too greasy for some on a diet and there are no real healthy options, it is solely a takeaway (so unfortunately no eat in). If you can get past these two problems then you OWE it to yourself to eat here. The food is incredible, the place has a nice atmosphere and it’s in an easy place to find. The staff are phenomenal cooks and ludicrously kind, one time they even stayed open an extra 15 mins just so I could get my food. Incredible. Come to this place and experience it. You may not like it but you may be addicted to this place if you do.

This take-away is apparently the old Chinese restaurant just across the road. I enjoyed the food there but this place is even better. We had take-away from here first time and we will definitely come back. Food was just great and exactly what we expected. I had some spicy chicken food which was just enough spicy to enjoy dinner and also know it's spicy. My friend had noodles with duck and it was delicious.
