As soon as I walked in I could tell this wasn’t your normal fish and chip shop! The decor and seating area were a level above any other fish and chip shop I’ve visited. It had a diner feel to it.
The food itself was amazing - the grilled fish and chips was tasty, well grilled and seasoned with good spices.
The batter on the cod had a unique and tasty flavour and the chips were cooked well and a generous portion.
The 1/2lb burger was filling and topping selection was on par with five guys.
Battered sausage was also 10/10.
Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Staff were polite and the owner took time to speak to us and find out a little about us as we were first time visitors.
Had a nice family feel to the place.

Went to shop there and saw this Chippy looked posh and had a great seating area . Had fish and chips and a battered sausage all were top class . Highly recommend it and reasonable prices for sure 5 stars

We ordered 7x take away large cods and not only the food was great but the service was awesome. They excellent packed the fish and all the food was hot. Thank you. We will order again!

We always come to you two brothers when I down from Cambridge to visit family it's the best fish & chips in the area.

Ordered in the shop a takeaway. First time in there, the restaurant side was very busy but we didn't have to wait long to be served. Food was ready very quickly, piping hot and delicious. Definitely will go back. Reasonably priced too.
