Came in for a traditional Bakewell pudding (when in Rome as they say!). Lots of choice available and had difficulty choosing which one we wanted as we were spoiled for choice.
Eventually we opted for the original pudding which has the lovely star design. Not the cheapest food, but very delicious, and very naughty on the waistline I would imagine!
I also had a chocolate granite as I hadn't had one in donkeys years, which brought me right back to school dinners! So glad that they do those.

Delicious iced bakewell tart! That was the small one and was massive I ate it over two days! Lady that served me was really polite and friendly

I visited the shop yesterday as soon as I walked in everything looked delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and the bakers were very helpful guiding me in what I could and couldn’t have due to having a dietary requirement. I have to say the cakes were all excellent will definitely be visiting again :)

It’s an amazing place to go to because it’s one of the best places to buy a Bakewell pudding in Bakewell. It was a lovely experience purchasing items from here but it is always cramped due to how busy it is. However, I do believe there should be a better and more organised system in place to anticipate the influx of people. If there was better queue and customer management, it would feel like more of an enjoyable experience.

We've been coming to Bakewell for nearly 30 years to buy Bakewell puddings among other goodies and although we've tried the other shops selling them, the Parlour is still by far the best - !

I was visiting from Essex and some friends local to Bakewell took me here. I tried the traditional Bakewell pudding and I have to say it didn't disappoint! I will definitely pay this shop a visit the next time I come this way

Old style shop, but very well maintained. An amazing and beautiful place to visit if you are in the area.
Also, the food is tasty and homemade style. The pudding is my favorite.
The service is fast and the staff very nice.
There’s a payed park nearby (±3m walking distance).
