Well ! We were walking from Dinnet to the Canbus O’May bridge when a local man advised us to walk a mile further for a cheese toasty ! We had food with us but thought “why not”. When you spend your money on food and drink sometimes you can be disappointed but trust me not in here. Very polite and friendly team. The cheese toasty’s were absolutely loverly and well worth the money so much flavour and to top it all the coffee was really really nice. In fact after a really nice Toasty I was thinking I hope this coffee is nice and it really did compliment the cheese Toasty ! The shop and cafe are great and the inside space is very welcoming and there is plenty of seating outside some heated under cover and some out in the sunshine ( if the suns out) clean toilets. Would definitely recommend a visit and a Toasty and coffee. We brought some cheese for home as well. Not sure if dogs are allowed inside as we did not ask and sat outside, but plenty of dog bowls about for water. Loverly experience.

Small Cafe and cheese makers. around noon place is pack. Lunch rush look like they have a hard time cleaning tables. Staff very friendly. The toasties (Hot sandwich) are pre-made and refrigerated the toasted upon order. However, dont let this discourage you, the food is great. The order consisted of Auld Reekie & Venison, CombusO'may &Haggis, 5 cheese and Ploughmass. All the toasties had an intense cheese flavor. The Haggis one pair perfectly. The cheese with the Haggis created a flavor intense and flavorful. The 5 cheese is an explosion of flavor. The Venison al paired perfectly with the cheese. The Ploughmass, a 3 cheese sampler was great every single cheese was awsome on its own. The overall experience was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Stopped here today while out cycling. Enjoyed a nice double espresso and a chilled sparkling water outdoors. Friendly service. Perfect 👌

Delicious, locally made cheese in tasty light bites at good prices. Fresh coffee. We had 2 toasties, mac & cheese and 2 coffees for around £20. Lovely forest walks around. Absolutely recommend. You can also buy a selection of their cheeses and a few other bits

Visited for brunch a few days back. The cafe is in a beautiful location, an ideal stop off before or after walks. A fantastic welcome from Maggie too. We both had the 5 cheese toasties and the courgette and Camembert soup. The toasties were phenomenal! Delicious cheeses oozing from between really good quality bread! They are accompanied by a generous dressed salad and potato crisps garnish. A perfect light lunch or brunch. The soup tasted really homemade, delicious and wholesome. Again served with good quality bread or, as I chose, a ‘cheese buttery’. Now, where to start with this very naughty treat! A bit like a dense scone, cheesy and can be eaten either hot or cold. The heat of the soup works really well to bring out the cheesy buttery flavours!! With 2 really good coffees we had a fantastic tasty wholesome brunch/light lunch served in a fantastic setting by Maggie and her crew. Unforgettable. Really recommended. **I’ve noticed with some of the other reviews people are confusing a salad garnish with a side salad.

Lovely little cafe with a great selection of cheese inspired food! Must try cheese toasties! We visited for hot drinks and food and to buy their cheeses. Once we got home we had an amazing cheese board and I couldn't pick my favourite! They were all so delicious it was by far our favourite cheese board we've made!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The 5 cheese toasties were excellent, sat outside with the dogs, undercover.

Great place to stop for coffee and cake. The cheeses are amazing. I bought some of the whisky infused cheese and a couple of others: all were delicious.

Stop off on the way to/ from Braemar on the North Deeside Road. Great selection of artisan cheeses to be bought here. My favourite being Auld Reekie. Nice plate of soup and toasties, sandwiches etc here also.
