Stopped off for an early breakfast on a very wet morning last week. Food and coffee were great, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and attentive. Their menu seems very extensive. Will pop in again when I'm next in Banchory in December. Thank you.

Great local cafe! Perfect for simple quality breakfast or lunch, hidden behind shop. Does what it says on the box. Sandwiches, soup, avocado (and bacon) on toast, good tea, awesome scones. Went passing through on bike, and so good that went on back. Well worth a slight detour from Deeside way. Not hipster coffee, but not that kind of place.

For a cafe tacked onto the end of a furniture shop, it's a great wee place. People friendly, easy parking, easy bike access. Prices average.

What a nice surprise and even though its 4x the price of morissons its well worth it real produce and breakfast was hot not tepid or warm..HOT ! ALL ITEMS ON THE BIG BREAKFAST WERE GREAT, apart from the eggs oil a little hot for frying an egg but brought back memories of my mother's fried eggs lol so def going back here. Coffee good too, and that's a surprise considering the rubbish that's out there pretending to be coffee . Thoroughly enjoyed it, only moan would be that you can't tip on card ??? When cash is like blaspheming nowadays it just seems a bit odd but def going back when the chance arises. Even the staff in the shop were friendly, and that's a rarity .Well done ....

Had an excellent Brunch today freshly cooked tasted great and reasonably priced (included Tea or Coffee). Staff were very friendly too; will definitely be back soon. Might just help new visitors if you can have a sign saying order at counter if that's the way its done!! Outdoor area will be great in the Summer

Always a great place to eat. Probably THE best Broth you will experience, and the homebakes are superb. We regularly pop in for brunch, and have taken visitors for brunch, coffee, lunches and afternoon tea. Also our preferred sandwich takeout for lunch when we're not in the village. Staff are always friendly and helpful, and kids are well catered for.

Great little Cafe. Lovely atmosphere and great service. Would love to see some plain cakes, like chocolate or caramel/toffee cake slices on offer. Toilets are clean and easily accessible. Plenty of parking and a lovely shop downstairs with lots of nick nacks and gifts to buy, not to mention they even sell furniture! Definitely recommend it.

Hello folks travellers world Barry Allan here lover of food and places that go that extra mile to give you the service that you desire and if youve read any of my reviews youll know i really like to get a real feel of places that i really love to go to and Scolty cafe at Duncans is definatley at the top of my list as far as cafes go please read on! Headed by the lovely chef Steven and assisted by the equally lovely Donna Scolty cafe is attatched to the wonderful Duncans shop selling furniture ornaments and all kinds of lovely things so before going for some top class food you can peruse the shop for things for the home and great gifts. As i do i popped by for a bacon and egg roll and a flat white coffee and well it as ever was just excellant locally sourced bacon and egg as everything at Scolty is fresh and locally sourced washed down with the lovliest creamy flat white coffee a great start to the day ! I asked steven to sit with me as i wanted to find out more so that i could let you good folks know heres what he had to say.Scolty cafe has been there three and a half years a family owned business in his words selling fresh old fashioned favorites such as stovies mince and tatties as well as an array of salads, sandwhiches, wonderful soups their cullin skink is renowed wow very tasty as well as a great selection of cakes which are all made in house by bakers Aileen and Linda theres a lot on offer all of a high standard they know their food here, and speaking to chef steven he tells me that its a mixed crowd of all ages and they have a large ammount of regulars who know just how good their food is adding to that tourists stopping by the beautiful wee town of banchory theres always a happy lively vibe at the cafe. At Scolty all food allergys and intolerances are catered for as well as vegans and vegetarians you will be sure to find something that tickles your interest everything is expertly cooked to order by steven and rest assured his food is great! The staff at Scotly are so very helpful and friendly always smiling and warm and stevens daughter Jemma is on hand to help you in any way she can thankyou for your continual great service brilliant! Another great thing about Scolty is that they have been nominated for the Glasgow cafe awards 2022 i wish you all the very best folks you deserve it. Also at Scolty if the suns shining you can sit outside in the relaxing comfortable garden area which is very peaceful and sedate and if your looking to hold a birthday party or other celebration no problem the good folks at Scolty will take care of that what else can i say Scolty cafe and Duncans really have become a big part of the community and myself and my family love the place somif your ever up this way be sure to stop by just make sure Stevens having a good hair day ha thankyou very much folks great Barry Allan
