That Pancake Place

Brilliant little pancake place in a lovely little square off the main street in Banchory! The pancakes were great (even though we were in at the end of the day). Everything is freshly made & they are dog friendly. Well worth a visit if you're visiting Banchory or passing through. There is car parking nearby!

Nestled in the lovely town of Banchory is that place just on Scott Skinner square with tables outside for those sunny days, as soon as you walk in the smell oh the smell! hits you in an instant, aromas of butter and sugar eggs and bacon and the waft of delicious freshly roasted coffee is what you should expect oh yes! That pancake place has only been with us in the little town for a few months but already they sure are making a name for themselves quite honestly because in my opinion this is the best pancakes i have ever tasted and thats a fact! The choice well all the pancakes that the really lovely ladys make are fresh buttermilk ones and as you can imagine the flavour is intense creamy milky pancakes cooked to perfection what to have on top? ok well feeling fruity? you can have strawberrys blueberrys and other fruits piled on with dollops of lovely fresh cream a winner for any sweet tooth oh yes really really excellant ot perhaps your looking for something savoury well fear not they have you covered and i would have to recommend the wonderful breakfast pancake wow bacon free range eggs black pudding lorne sausage tomato it really is a treat oh delicious maple syrup is drizzled over the top to finish as well as this you can have fresh salmon bacon and maple on its own banana and chocolate theres so much to choose from theres certainly something for everyones taste as well as all this wonderful food on offer the ladys are so friendly its such a nice place to go and unwind in and their coffee is top notch as well so if your in Banchory you know where to go but be quick these ladys are always busy but rest assured you will have a great time best wishes good luck barry

I am a chef to trade and this place was well worth going to from Stonehaven this is something stonehaven should have the first bite I was thinking omg I can hardly taste anything or smell anything since I had covid in 2021 but this was very nice the waitress was very polite and friendly can’t wait to go back again

First of all, the food is absolutely brilliant, the staff are really friendly, the only thing that let's this lovely place down is the extremely rude manager/owner. Spoke horrifically to the staff and us as customers, it was a massive let down and it would have had 5 stars if not for the owner, she was awful.

Came across this place as we passed through Banchory. Absolutely loved the full Scottish pancake Breakfast and the coffee is amazing. Can’t stop thinking about how soft and fluffy the pancakes were. 👍👍👍👍👍😀😎
