Step inside higgeldy piggeldy and straight away your transported into an emporium of the most lovely gifts jewellery ornaments and other assorted lovely things it just feels so homely you just get that warm feeling and so you should! Run by Jason and his lovely wife with help from the kids you can spend an age looking round at all the splendid things on offer at very competitive prices I may add. Set in the charming little town of banchory higgeldy piggeldy Is a new addition to the town and already they are making a name for themselves firstly because it's a lovely shop and secondly because they are such lovely people fancy a browse well worth the effort and once you've bought your lovely things wait why don't you pop upstairs to their oh so comfortable cafe to try their range of fresh homemade soups sandwiches scones cakes and their marvellous coffee and teas! It's such a warm vibrant little place and when you sit down in the cafe you really do feel totally at ease it's just marvellous so pop by for the higgeldy treatment you won't be disappointed give them a try best wishes barryx

What a gem of a find..first I was captivated by the name then the quirky shop downstairs where I must admit I spent a good while looking and purchasing lots of beautiful unusual artisan items. Then I decided to grab a bite to eat upstairs and what a surprise that was.. a totally unexpected space so cosy and welcoming. The staff were lovely from start to finish it felt like I was in someone’s home. The hot chocolates are divine and the food was fresh and tasty and so reasonably priced. Well done Higgledy Piggledy I can not praise you enough.. See you very very soon x

Went for a browse round the shop which was amazing lots of unusual gift ideas and who doesn’t need a different girt idea. Went upstairs for lunch which was a very calm space all the girls were so polite and helpful. Lunch was great and the hot chocolate was amazing will definitely be back ❤️

just been here for lunch with my friends, absolutely lovely! staff really nice and helpful, food was SO NICE, and the general aesthetic was so comforting. already making plans to come back!

Delightful experience, the owners have transformed the space upstairs into a warm, welcoming, comfortable space with a variety of seating arrangements and all of it enhanced by great artwork and decor. The staff are friendly and warm and the menu is plentiful.

Absolutely loved this place . It’s so cosy and designed to suit different needs . Varieties of sofas and chair seatings available . You go in the store which is absolutely beautiful with amazing bespoke things to buy
