Roma Pizza

Rolled into Tony Roma's at 820pm after a full day of Banff activities. Dining services end at 9pm in the restaurant. So we op'ed for the lounge which was a 10pm cut off. Excited to enjoy the street view except the lounge was in the basement of the hotel. Lots of tvs and looked to have been just renovated, except there was no real vibe. Decided to just deal with it since Covid curfew creeps up rather quickly, having to be out of properties no later than 11pm. Our server L100 (on the bill) was the reason why we left happy. Great service. Very clean. Everything sanitized. The food was hit and miss. Onion loaf ordered as an appy was kinda cold upon arrival. Ribs were decent and very healthy portions. Mashed potatoes kinda cold. Overall it just met my expectations. I'd suggest sitting in the dining room for atmosphere! A quick shoutout the manager and the server at this location. We went for lunch, but were a bit early. The manager accommodated us by letting us sit and order a few minutes early. We were keen on beef ribs, which are no longer on the menu, and again, the manager accommodated us by letting us know he had enough for one order ready in the back. Very intuitive and very much appreciated.

We stopped in for lunch after our bike ride from Canmore. Downtown Banff is a mask compulsory area. You need your cell phone to download the menu from the table top code. I ordered a bevie and a couple of waters. My wife ordered the steak salad and I the half rack of ribs. Both meals were delicious and filling. A big shout out to Lauren our server. On the flip side, it was only 21 degrees and a bit or rain outside and they had the A/C running. My wife had to order a coffee to warm up.

My friends and I had a craving for dessert. Some friends wanted ice cream and some wanted warm brownies. We ended up coming and ordering 2 family sized Crispy Brownie Sundaes to share for 4 people. The servers laughed with us as we attempted to eat all of the food, and gladly brought us menus as we tried to find out how many calories are in the dessert. The service was great, even with all of our weird requests, and the food was delicious.
