Five Guys

This was my first time having a burger at FiveGuys. Those guys obviously got together and got the “bun to meat ratio” right. The patty was done right just past pink but not over done. The vegetables were crisp and fresh. The fries were real potatoes and salty: just the way I like them. In so many places you have to add the salt but here, it’s done for you and boy is it good. Enjoyed the cool looking soda/pop dispensers. Need to satisfy the burger craving? Do it here!

Had to wait over 40 minutes for my order. It was sitting on the counter the whole time. I asked about it and was told to wait for my name to be called. A different employee finally came over and ask what I was waiting for. I told him my name and he handed me a bag that had been in the rack the enter time I was there. Food was cold. Guy offered me a free drink. I declined.

I had a great experience that I wanted to share. I have hearing issues, so when I walked up to the counter I motioned to let the employee know I couldn’t hear her over the background noise. She made sure to write down the question she had, and ensured that I got what was trying to get. She really went the extra mile to make my experience better, and that was really awesome

Pros: 1. Best Burger you can get in town unless you cook at home. Seriously they have great burgers. 2. Free Peanuts, all you want. 3. Usually really good folks working here. Cons: 1. Cost, and the price keeps going up. When you spend say $11 for a burger, and it doesn't even leave you feeling overfull, I believe that is too expensive. 2. It seems the company requires employees to make sure you don't just want the burger, they try to offer you drinks etc. Of course we want drinks etc, but its too expensive to add anything else. 3. Usually the milkshakes are really good but tonight I think it didn't have enough milk as it had a very artificial syrup flavor to it and was like $5.39. Also the milkshakes are quite small for this price. It is one size only.

4/2/22 extremely disappointed & frustrated & not likely to return. Pondering dinner options friends & I settled on 5 guys. Their website stated free delivery so we ordered online. The order would be ready in 8 minutes, but once placed, the notification says come to the store to pick it up curbside ~ they'll bring it out. Once at the store, the order changed to "come inside to pick up your order". Neither of these were "delivery" as stated on the website. So I announced I was there for my order and waited 20 minutes for it to be made although the cashier yelled out "Mark us in the house." Why order delivery if I wanted to go and order at the store? They served 20+ patrons before I went to the counter AGAIN to ask where my order was. I was told we didn't know you were here. Got home and fries were hot though incredibly salty - couldn't eat them and the other food was lukewarm. I'm NOT happy! Incredibly aggravating process! ***2 years ago it was fine: Went just for their French Fries - like pier fries. So tasty w/salt & malt vinegar.

This place makes me smile cause 2 guys is better then one and let me tell you five guys is the best. Cant get better then five guys servicing your cravings of putting their tasty meat in your mouth and when you swallow it's so good you wont need a drink to wash it down over the taste of the five guys that you just put down your throat but for simple thirst and sizzle. Go get them girls this place is the best.
