Found this place after googling vegan cafes in barmouth and so glad we found it. Great vegan options (as well as non vegan options) including vegan cheese and dairy free spread and vegan brownies. Really enjoyed the sour cherry cola too. Staff very helpful too and great menu choice. Very clean inside too and dogs welcome.
Fantastic place to visit, staff are really friendly & welcoming. Great selection of food & very tasty. The meringue bombs are delicious, Barmouth is our 2nd home so a must call in for us
I was viewing the menu here when Ted the owner asked me what I was looking for. I asked if they did bacon sandwiches, and Ted said he'd make me one. Inside, I met Hazel, and had a lovely bacon sandwich and cup of tea, whilst chatting to Ted. All whilst they prepared to open. They both made my day. Please visit this cafe these people are lovely and deserve to do well in their new venture.

Here you will find without any doubt the most friendly people of all the places in Barmouth where you can get a good cup of coffee. The cake is delicious and the service superb. This is why you go to Barmouth 😃
So please, when you see the owners walk up the steep streets to go home, do give them a hand with the stuff they're carrying. You might get a coffee the next day 😃😊
After a walk from Shell Island to Barmouth, Murray's was perfect. No packet ham, it was the real stuff. Lots of homemade! Cakes, quiches, soups, he even brought out some chicken noodle soup for us to try. All staff excellent!
Lovely little cafe, friendly staff, good range of drinks and cakes. Music playing softly in the background so you don't have to raise your voice to talk to your companions.
If you are looking for somewhere a little more relaxed and friendly than the normal Costa or Star Bucks this place is definitely worth a visit.
Found this gem of a place as they were closing, my wife and I was really made welcome by Ted and Hazel lovely tea and cake, we will meet again ,lol Ted and Hazel were, we will definitely be returning
favourite place to take a moment, enjoy some good food and rest in relative calm .. it's never empty, but never rowdy or noisy, which is appealing to enjoy a bite.
The only "negative" is the opening times given that trains leaving Barmouth go into the early evening and there are nearly no options around after 15:30, even in summer; opening times until 17:30 would be helpful to visitors.
Really nice cafe. Genuinely comfortable, with great service and pleasant vibe. We had lunch, simple fayre but just perfectly done. The loose leaf tea is grand, a refreshing blend and plenty for a couple of cups.
We had toasties, cheese and tommy, bacon, cheese and onion, a good lunch with small (inc) fresh side salad and some crisps.
Our second visit here. Food was great and service was outstanding. Very welcoming and friendly staff. We will be back.

This is probably our favourite cafe, the owners are so friendly and accommodating as much as the can be for my husband who is allergic to most of the food on the planet. The food is always good and the cakes are amazing. It takes us an hour to get there but it's worth every minute.
Very friendly atmosphere and great service, the food we ordered was quick but not too quick. Well presented and delicious. The cake after was excellent as well. A fab find and will return
