Eat here regularly - its probably my most favourite place in Barmouth to eat! Lobster Thermador is just to die for! I'll be back again in the season! Whether you just want a small pot of seafood, a cup of coffee or substantial meal, this is the place to come. I recommend it to all those who stay in my house over the summer. Keep up the good work/food ladies!
Lovely service very friendly the food is top nosh i would recommend the full lobster and the fish chowder
After walking around Barmouth for an hour trying to find somewhere to be either open or that can accommodate my allergies.
A lovely little find in the heart of Barmouth.
I have food allergies to Egg, Dairy and Gluten so it's a tricky combo to accommodate for, but they pulled it out of the bag and said just ask as everything is freshly cooked. And that it was!
Definitely one to go back too and the coffee wasn't bad either.
*Photos: mackerel salad and new potatoes and my partner (no allergies) had a Cod Goujon Sandwich with chips*
Great food, excellent service, reasonable prices. Located right by the harbour so an excellent view while dining! Planning another visit, there were too many tempting things on the menu to choose from! 🙂
Quality food with friendly service. We had an amazing time here. Tried few different dishes and they all super fresh and tasty! Highly recommend for anyone who is interested in seafood!
We ordered seafood linguine and prawns in garlic sauce. I have never had a better seafood dinner in my life. The mussels were delicious and the prawns in chilli sauce just melted in your mouth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
If you love seafood this is the place to come for lunch in Barmouth.
It was pretty busy and waited to be served. Eventually I had to ask, only to be told to order at the counter.
When I placed my order the service was swift and friendly.
I had a crab sandwich, which was generously filled in thick wholemeal bread. Delicious 😋
Definitely recommend.
We came around noon and the place was already packed. Not much seats indoors so if you’re not fond of the cold, do come earlier to ensure seating inside. Otherwise they do have several tables outside. We had crab, mussels and surf N turf burger. Crab was good. Mussels were small and not plump, perhaps not the best time to eat them in April. The burger though had prawn salad, smoked salmon and beef patty was missing something. Maybe the patty was not well seared and bun is not what I expected. But that might be just me, particular about the burger. But the fries were really good. Service was fine, the staff was helpful to add a chair to a table of two to seat the three of us. The place was relatively clean. Bathroom is available opposite the toilet. The items we ordered are between £13-£18.
Clean restaurant along the seaside, foods ok, crab salad is quite pricey for a small crab with few bits of salad and chips.
Great little food place. Tables are limited, but they will serve you on the benches right by the harbour. Mussels excellent and the prawn and crab stack was very fresh. Give it a try!
Spot of lunch on a fairly busy Saturday, we were slightly early for lunch, but they took our order nonetheless.
Food came out quick and was tasty and good value.
Very tasty well priced food, it can be very busy and you may have to wait. I had a very delicious Thai green curry.
