I have been going to Loon Wah for over 15 years now. When I ordered from them this evening 08/10/2023 I found the food to be very poor in comparison to what it used to be. Don't get me wrong, the food is still decent. However, its far from its previous standards.
Not sure if it was sold or a new chef but no where near what it once was.
The chicken satay used to be incredible, best iv ever had but is now watery. Used to receive prawn crackers with every order but now only with orders over £25 pounds.
Shame.

Honestly the best Chinese we’ve had! We have take away every week and it’s always amazing ! One of the best we’ve genuinely had. And in the area as we tried a few before we found this. Always super fast delivery also. Thanks. Drake house

Ordered take away recently from Loon Wah for my family and I. The food came just before the ETA that was mentioned on the phone, no complaints here for a Saturday evening. Food came hot and tasty, and wasn't like our past experiences elsewhere. We will definitely continue ordering Chinese from here going forward.
I can see some reviewers mentioning about the pricing, to be honest in today's climate, it's money well spent for a takeaway. It's not like it's restaurant prices or anything.

I went to order some food from this take away for the first time it was so amazing very enjoyable worth the money I spent. The food was worth the wait. I will definitely be ordering food for the future and recommending it to my friends. I would recommend the homemade dumplings it was so delicious.

I went to loon wah and ordered food for me and my family. The food was amazing, customer service was good. Although, the wait was long it was worth the wait and I will definitely be going back. I will also be recommending to my family and friends.I would recommend the Singapore noodles,homemade dumplings,chicken balls and egg fried rice I ordered 1 portion for my 2kids and there was left over for me to have some.
