lovely place with great decor and friendly staff. Food is a little expensive but we enjoyed it hence the 4 stars, beef was a little tough and the veg a little bland as just steamed. Roasted carrots and parsnips would have helped so much.

Very impressed with food quality, quantity and service for Sunday lunch. The vegetarians among us also were complementary. Tastefully decorated, lovely beer (Landlord) and soft furnishings quietened what could have been a noisy venue. Will come back.
The gravy if you can call it that was gloop so easy to use granuals when all you have to do is whisk or stir but can’t the chef make a gravy ???
The veg 🥴 appeared to be thrown into a cold dish ,not washed not trimmed …
Went in for a very late lunch, and they didn’t disappoint! We enjoyed a lovely meal and drinks in a peaceful atmosphere, with excellent staff. The steak frites and beef burger were amazing! We will be back!
