The decor is busy but fascinating. The food Incredible. I had a beef burger, and the bacon was honestly overdone, but it didn't matter as it was still amazingly tasty, with such a lively bacon flavour. My wife had the lamb and couldn't stop professing her admiration of the flavours. Skip the parmesan chips, the normal fries are just as tasty The lemon posset however should not be missed, again, wonderful flavours and with the most amazing, pleasantly soft shortbread!

This was a we’ll need pint break after walking the grounds! Such lovely creatures that greeted me with smiles! The pub is so beautiful and has all sorts of events taking place! Live bands the last Friday and you might catch a wedding! The outdoor seating is phenomenal on a sunny day!

Absolutely fantastic, the afternoon tea was amazing! Very unique, love the quirkiness of the miniature picnic bench. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very organised and overall spot on. The fish and wedges were cooked to perfection aswell as the mini chicken burger. The selection of desserts is great as everyone likes different ones. The scone and the mini cheesecake were the best 👌 thank you I'll be visiting again x

Visited after receiving a gift card and splashed out on the Chateaubriand which was incredibly tasty and cooked to perfection. Like any restaurant goer, I secretly looked at other dishes people had and it all looked amazing. Loads of people had the afternoon tea boards so they must be pretty popular. All staff were friendly and accommodating and outdoor space looks decent. Only side note is that parking spots are a bit tight, so be carefulif you drive a tractor.

Had King's themed afternoon tea. The portions were very generous and there was a good range of food, which was well presented. The bread on the sandwiches was a little bit stale, hence 4 not 5 stars. Would go back again to try a different theme, as it changes monthly!

Booked to eat at 12 on Sunday ( doors opened at 12) warmly welcomed to our table and nice interior. Order for drinks taken and arrive quickly. Food ordered with a good choice, most of our party of 8 chose the shared mixed Sunday Roast. The hot plates arrived first then serving platters to choose meat ( chicken, pork, beef) roasties, Yorkshire puds and veg. Lovely presentation a little fussy managing so many plates on the dining table. Food was delicious ( pork a little dry) rich gravy very nice. We enjoyed the meal and atmosphere as the pub and restaurant became busy around us. I would recommend

Very busy Sunday lunch service with a couple of large groups eating. After an initial wait at the door of around 5 minutes the staff walked us to our seat for drinks before dinner. Food was very good! I unusually chose fish with a salmon and prawn starter which I as very goody main was salmon en croute. It was enormous! And very delicious. My wife had beef which she said was lovely. Plus a huge bowl of veg to share. Lovely glass of malbec although a tad pricey at £10! All in all an excellent meal. Would recommend to anyone.

Had afternoon tea here a number of times. Always good, tasty food and decent value for money. Can be a little chaotic sometimes and we’ve had wrong orders delivered to us that needed correction. Friendly staff, parking can be challenging and tight spots, but offsite parking is available. Nice spot, especially when the sun shines.

4th Visit… Decided to try the Lobster, was perfect and accompanied by Parmesan fries which completed the dish! (Photo added) 1st Visit… Fabulous food in a lovely setting with nice friendly staff! We had the sharing Tomahawk steak and were blown away by the meal, it was PERFECT!We turned up hungry and as there is a 40 min wait for that we ordered deserts first! Random, but worked a treat! 👍🏻
