Bar Ruelle doesn't do food but it does serve great beer both real ales and branded there is a great experience waiting for all who visit this bar

Huge selection of real ales. Every one we had was perfect. Nice to see a different German lager that you don't see anywhere else. Decent space too. Great asset to Barnsley.

Recently reopened as a bar , not a bistro as before.
Same owners.
Six real ales. Craft beers and lagers.
Good service.
Free bar snacks at times and pork pies to buy.
I think you can take your own food in.

A superb place, perhaps the finest place to eat in Barnsley. We had a selection of Tapas which they customised to our own tastes and it simply could not have been better, the most beautiful dishes which we shared between three of us. Great beer, fine tasting wine and owners who care about their customers and their experience. I will certainly be returning.

Went to Barnsley to watch Stoke, found this bar just opening and was invited in, the landlady did sausage & bacon baps, the service was fast and very friendly staff, we were told that there would be a spread on after the game if we were hanging around, we returned after the match to be greeted warmly with a spread to feed an army, this pub will always be on my radar well done proper hospitality.

Excellent service and fantastic food at a great price. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and made sure we were catered for, throughout the meal. The portion sizes are very generous.
